NOTE: I live in Alaska and am subjected, by some companies, to pay an "extra" fee" or "just because you live in Alaska" fee or "the only way we ship is FedEx" -- You name it and companies will find a way to charge more because they believe it MUST cost more to ship to ALASKA.  The truth is unless it is a very large or heavy package it usually DOES NOT cost very much more (by Priority Mail) going here than it does, say Seattle.  So I will not charge all of my customers in the Continental US MORE because they live in the lower 48.   Hey - it's my website and I'll gripe if I want to!!!  Don't get me started on FREE SHIPPING - Continental US ONLY!!!!

If you notice that when you place an order using the PayPal buttons that the shipping charges seem high for the items you are ordering, instead of canceling the order, please email me first.  List the items (copy & paste from your PayPal cart) and alert me.  PayPal's system is set for figuring shipping on the dollar amount not the weight or size.  In most cases I can adjust the shipping & handling to be more reasonable and send you a PayPal invoice that reflects the lower shipping & handling.  I want to be fair and upfront and I don't make money off shipping charges, for sure.  Thanks!

SHIPPING & HANDLING:  I use only USPS Priority Mail.  It is very reasonable and available in all areas of the country.  Locally, mail leaves our Post Office at 3 PM Alaskan time so that is also a factor.  Many things can effect shipping time from Alaska such as weather and holidays.  Generally you can expect to receive your Priority Mail shipped package within 3 to 10 days of ordering as long as I have the items on hand.

I have had to adjust shipping charges to a more accurate rate.  This new rate chart is more fair to everyone, especially small orders.  I have averaged costs to the order totals to come up with this:
SHIPPING TIME - Alaska is a very large state and has limited options to buy supplies.  I buy as much as I can locally before I go outside the state to find necessary suppliers.  This may at times cause a slight delay but I will notify you if it will be longer than three days.  I usually ship the next day after receiving your order if I have all the items already made or can make them easily.  Priority Mail will take generally 3 - 6 days to most parts of the country.  See "Shipping & Handling" above.
FABRIC SALES? - No, I don't sell any of my fabric or supplies alone.  Nor can I tell you where I get them.  See paragraph above about how difficult it is just to get fabric sometimes.
PREWASHED FLANNEL - Most flannel and 100% cottons will shrink to varying degrees when washed the first time.  Some items would be affected by the shrinkage such as size of receiving blankets, lap pads, embroidery, etc.  Some flannels have a lot of lint so you may notice some on certain kinds of flannel.  All material is new.  Terry cloth and towels are also prewashed because they shrink so much.  Prewashing helps items to keep their shape when the customer washes them and keeps embroidery looking correct.

SPECIAL ORDERS - Sometimes.  It will depend on what you need made, how much time it  would take, and fabrics available.  I charge a flat $10.00 per item for any special order.  Then, if I have to search for certain kinds of fabrics either locally or online, I add $10.00.  Then I can give you an estimate of the total cost plus shipping, depending on the item.  I will communicate with you either by email or phone (I prefer email - that way everything is written down for both of us) to get your specifications.

I also do not make crib ensembles as the time involved is way more than I could possibly charge for.  There are many talented people "out there" who are experienced in this extensive task.

If your order includes special ordered fabrics I must have the payment for the order BEFORE I order/buy the fabrics.  This way, there is less of a chance you will decide you don't want the item.  I will hold up my end of the transaction - I expect the same from the customer.

Do you sell at a wholesale price or do Consignment? - My prices are absolutely the lowest I can go, as they are, here on the website.  Everything is made one at a time by just me and I can't afford to sell at wholesale prices.  I have to have most fabric shipped here to Alaska rather than have access to a bulk, "lower 48" shipping.  I am mainly a "very few of a kind," unique,  homemade items kind of business.  Also, I don't make mass produced items in high quantities.  I don't make high quantities of items for resale.   I'm only one person...
And No, I don't do any consignments - burned once - never again.

DO I GIVE OUT MY SOURCE FOR PACIFIER CLIPS? - NO.  And SO many have asked and I've been called selfish and a lot of other nasty names because I don't give out any information about where I obtain any of the supplies I use in my products.  If I was to give away "trade secrets" I wouldn't be in business.  I searched for days actually until I found several that I chose from.  You can search, too.  I do have to buy them in very large quantities so the expense wouldn't pay for personal use when needing a couple.  Please save you and me the angst of asking and replying.  It's common business practice not to give out that information.

Can you make something for me using Disney character fabric?  -  No, sorry.  There are laws that specifically state that their fabric (anything with Disney or other licensed characters on it) cannot be used to make items for resale.  These companies do not look kindly on home businesses and will prosecute.  And Yes, you will find others selling all sorts of items made from the licensed fabrics, etc.,  but not me.  I value my business and therefore I don't knowingly use their fabrics.  You would have to buy the licensed material and find a friend or family member to sew it for you and not pay for it.
GUARANTEE & RETURNS:  I guarantee satisfaction with my workmanship and if for any reason you are not satisfied with the quality, you may return the item within 14 days after you receive it for a refund of the item price.  I cannot accept returns on custom made items such as mittens.  I will work with you to fit them but they cannot be returned.  Shipping & handling is not refundable.

Please keep in mind that these are handmade items and may contain tiny flaws in stitches, which is a character of a handmade item unlike the mass - machine produced "store bought" products. 

Sometimes sizes can vary.  Everything I make is made to withstand use, washing, (Except I Spy Bags) drying and loving.  It's made just like it's for my own grandchildren. 

I guarantee my Pacifier Leashes for 6 months of wear & normal use.  If the clip breaks or becomes too loose and not gripping, or the snap breaks, return the Pacifier Leash (PLEASE wash it first – pin closed inside a small sock to wash and dry to protect clip) to me and I will replace or repair it and return it to you by regular mail. I’ve had only a few needing repair and want my customers to be completely satisfied by my products.

SHIPPING OVERSEAS / INTERNATIONAL  is not available.  I have tried to ship using International Priority Mail and at least one package is still lost out there somewhere with no way to find it.  There is a very expensive International Express that may be able to be tracked, but the hassle is not worth my time.  If a product is lost in shipping, due to no fault of mine, I become liable to replace the item, which eats into my overhead, raising my prices for everyone.  Foreign addresses are complicated to say the least.  If you live in the US and want to send an item(s) overseas, order it to be sent to you and then you can do the overseas mailing.  If you live overseas and would like to order, maybe a friend here in the US will accept it sent to them and then they might send it to you.  Either way, I will ONLY ship to the US and maybe to Canada on a case by case basis.  It doesn't take very many foal-ups to ruin a good thing.

CAN I GET A PATTERN TO MAKE YOUR ITEMS MYSELF?   NO.  And yes, people have asked... I am in business and it doesn't make sense to me to give away or sell my patterns so you can make them yourself.  Almost all of my items are things I have created myself and I will not give away or sell my patterns, ideas or sources.  All embroidery designs are found online at various sites and are bought with the right to sell items with the design on them or free designs with no stipulations on items sold.  By law, I cannot, and will not under any circumstances, give away or sell ANY of the digital embroidery designs.  I will give you a link to the designer's site if I can easily locate it, if requested.

Can I get quantity discounts? -  I have made 15 - 20 bibs at a time for some special needs customers.  The best I can do is to cut the usual shipping on these orders to a Flat Rate USPS amount.  Please keep in mind that no matter how many I make, they are each made one at  a time not mass produced in a sweat shop.  I do the best I can on pricing but my time is valuable.  You will get a quality product no matter how many you order.  Please allow a sufficient amount of time for large orders as I still have to fill other single item orders at the same time.  I do all the sewing myself.

Can you send items to me to review on my website?

NO.  Thanks for the "advertising" but having done this too many times and the return in sales being $0, there is NO advantage for me to do this.  You get a free item(s) - I gain nothing.  Buy my products, review them if you like and if sales are generated (customer mentions that they saw it on your site) then, at my option, I may give you an option for a discount or free item.
