While making items for babies and toddlers, some things I've found are used for those with special needs.

"Whatever Leashes"
Gramma's "Whatever Leashes" can hang onto items that easily get lost, hold a napkin, whatever you can think of.
A plastic aligator-type clip is attached securely to BOTH ends of the ribbon. One clip is attached to clothing, seat strap or another secure item and the other end is attached to "whatever". Specify length needed.
It's available in any of the colors shown below. You'll need more than one! "Whatever" Leashes are washable.

The red terry is a little lighter weight than the other colors.

The bibs below are made of a heavier 100% cotton terry cloth (one layer) than my other terry bibs. They were designed for special needs use, but are great for teething babies, too. They measure about 8 1/2" wide by 9" long. Edges are finished with a coordinating cotton trim. Colors will vary depending on availability of fabric. Closures can be with Snaps or Velcro. Snaps are on a cotton fabric sewn to the terry for durability. Velcro is on terry.
Please email child's neck size so I can be sure the bib fits correctly.
I was asked if I could make an I Spy Bag out of a cleanable fabric for a little boy undergoing chemotherapy, due to him not able to have the fleece material and requiring easy cleaning. It was an easy solution to use the wonderful polymer material that I use on my Changing Table Pads, Lap Pads and Bibs. It is soft, strong and very flexible and the filler beads and items move easily in the bag. It is used on both sides of the bag and the list of items to find is covered with plastic and sewn securely all around the plastic. All can be wiped and cleaned (but not immersed in water) - making it great for daycare, schools, hospitals, anywhere lots of kids handle the Bags and they need to be cleaned.
The seams are all double stitched securely, with the clear plastic window heavy stitched onto the front of the bag. No frills, no embroidery, no theme, but a great idea to fill a need. These bags are about 7 " square and contain about 1 to 2 more ounces of the poly filler beads, so they are a little heavier than the fleece bags. I can make the bags using blue, pink, green or white polymer material. Sorry, these are the only colors available. Some may have contrasting thread. The backs will be either the same as the front or white depending on availablility. State Color and Boy, Girl or Either for type of items inside.
The bibs below are made of the lighter (baby) weight, 100% cotton terry cloth (one layer). They were developed from the need of a Mom returning to work and she wanted daycare workers to be aware of her son's special needs due to his GERD. The front measures about 11" wide by 8" long. A stretch, ribbed neck makes it easy to put on and take off. Edges are finished with a turned under hem. Colors are available in white, blue, pink, yellow, mint green and lavender. These are made as Over-the-Head style. Any of the other bib styles on the Bibs Page 1 can be embroidered with the GERD sayings. Email me.

An important note for all my big and little customers. The waterproof fabric I use is manufactured in North American mills exclusively. It is certified non-toxic and meets the strictest medical and institutional standards (free of heavy metals, off gassing, skin irritants, brominated FRs and DEHP plasticizers) by Cantox Laboratories, a leader in health and safety testing.
I tested the waterproof fabric myself and the test showed No Lead. Gramma only wants the safest products for the little ones.
